Musical Elements is a small body of work created in memory of my late Father.  I create illustrated narratives of genres such as Pop, Rock, Jazz and Soul among others, born from his large record collection that suffered heat and flood damage. The final work is a visually fractured mosaic at times exceeding from the canvas and drawing the viewer in an effort to create texture. Viewers will enjoy my use of musical elements (vinyl records, Music CD’s and Digital music Codes) in the paintings, even by engaging in the work with modern technology in some instances.
