HairStories

By exploring the diversity in African American men and women, and the personal relationship to their hair in its natural state and how its embraced or rejected for the choice to display their most identifiable attributes.

By using Synthetic hair, Wire, Yarn, Found objects and other forms of media, I hope to have the viewer appreciate the beauty , strength and resilience of hair as both a identifier of beauty and heritage.
