The Colored Girls Museum is Back! 

Our Campaign In Search of The Colored Girl Begins Again

The Colored Girls Museum presents an updated installation by guest curator and visual artist, Lavett Ballard. Ballard was named one of 10 Black Emerging Female Artists to Watch by the prestigious website, Black Art In America in 2018. Other works featured in the spring exhibition include pieces by Kristine Mays, Beverly McCutcheon, Ellen Tiberino, Karina Puente, Rosiland Nzinga Nichols, Nile Livingston and Laura Cooper. The show will also feature photography donated by Montclair, N.J. based artist, Nastassia Davis.
